WARWICK, Joseph Steven Daniel, born in Farrellton Quebec January 1, 1911 passed away peacefully at Kinsman Place Lodge in Surrey BC December 24, 2007 at the age of 96. Dan survived by his wife Dora Mae, married 64 years. 5 Children Sandra, Jerry, Tim (Merle), Roxanne and foster son Henry. 10 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren. Surviving sister Helen Recchia, brother Alfred (Bud) Warwick. Plus extended family back east that he was regularly in contact with. Dan was a wonderful husband and father, a very well respected businessman and was very active in his church. He was known as "Dancing Dan" by many friends and family and was still dancing on the Friday before his passing. During his life he had many hobbies and always enjoyed being active and participating in life. He will be missed by all.
Memorial service was held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on 140th in Surrey BC December 28 2007 at 11AM.
Viewing will be held at Fraser Heights Chapel, 14835 Fraser Hwy, Surrey BC on Thursday January 3rd 2008 between 7-9PM.
Internment Service will be at the Ocean View Burial Park, 4000 Imperial Street, Burnaby BC at 11AM January 4th 2008.
