Patterson, Kenneth Alexander
Passed away peacefully at home on Feb. 25, 2006 at the age of 91. Born in Superior, Wisconsin, April 27, 1914. Ken moved with his family to Alberni in 1921, and later to Cloverdale in 1954. Ken was predeceased by his parents, Thomas & Helen and brothers Reg, and Babe. Ken is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Oddveig, his 4 children, Brian (Louann), Rod (Ellen), Greg (Colleen) and Helen (Ian). His 8 grandchildren, Calley (Matt), Kit, Jennifer, Emily, Amy, Jeff, Quinn, Rachel and great granddaughter Molly.
During WWII Ken was in the Airforce, after the war he was the postmaster in Alberni then postmaster in Cloverdale. He served as an Alderman in Surrey for many years. After retirement he and Oddy travelled, played golf, but what he loved the most was spending time with his grandchildren.
At Ken's request there will be no service and a family gathering will be held in the near future.
