BLAKE, Lawrence (Larry)
Passed onto his eternal rest on Saturday, May 1st, 2010 after a long, painful illness bravely borne.
He will be sadly missed by his heartbroken wife, Beth, and loving children and grand- children.
The family especially wishes to thank Glynnis for her constant support and help during these difficult times, as well as the Kinsman Place Lodge. Special mention of gratitude to The Royal Canadian Legion Dominion Command, the Royal Air Force benevolent fund and the RAF Officers.
We were planning his 90th birthday on the 8th May – VE Day – but he had his own ideas, fly safely.
There will be a private cremation, and then a celebration of his life will be held at the old hall of the Royal Canadian Legion – Whalley Branch – on Saturday, May 22nd at 11 am.
Donation in lieu of flowers would be welcomed by the Kinsman Place Lodge, Surrey.
