It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother, Marie Therese Philipine Gagnon on September 26, 2018. Therese passed away peacefully with her family by her side. Predeceased by her husband of 58 years, George Joseph Gagnon and her daughter, Susan Jane Charlton, Survived by her children, Archbishop Richard Joseph Gagnon, Emily Theresa Fowle (Gary), Kenneth James Gagnon (Anna), Kathleen Grace Estelle Cooke (Randy). Also 15 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
Therese was born in Eastend, Saskatchewan on April 9, 1926. Therese and George lived in Lethbridge, AB for 3 years and then moved to Vancouver where they raised 5 children. Theresa was active in her church and many charities. She was a member of the Catholic Women's League of Canada for 59 years.
Prayers will be said on Thursday, October 11, 2018 at 7:30 pm at St. Patrick's Catholic Church at 22561 121 Avenue in Maple Ridge, followed by the Funeral Mass on Friday, October 12, 2018 at 10:00 am.
