December 1, 1922 - October 29, 2018
After a full and remarkable life, Pat passed away peacefully at Surrey Memorial Hospital, with loving family members at her side. Pat will be sadly missed by her daughters Marilyn (Bill) Rapanos, Pat (Hardy) La Vac-Fischer, Suzanne (Steven) Coffey, seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Pat was born in Philadelphia, North England and raised in Arundel, West Sussex, England. She met her future husband Gerry (serving with the RCAF) during WWII.
Pat and Gerry married after the war and settled in Vancouver-Kitsilano. After their retirement (Pat from UBC's Law Library and Gerry from the Vancouver Police Force) moved to Delta where Pat pursued her life-long passions of writing and directing plays, painting in oil and water colour - and her love of writing. Pat was predeceased by husband Gerry in 2000.
There will be a celebration of her life at the Bear Creek Villa, 8233 140th Street, Surrey, on November 18, 2:30 - 4:30 pm.
