Peter Ruginis, BA Music Ed., MA Ed.

September 7, 1932 – August 8, 2018
Peter was born in Sandusky, MI, 2nd youngest of 9 boys. As a dedicated Teacher, he cultivated a love of music in many young students from Michigan to Whitehorse, Simon Fraser University and finally the Lower Mainland of B.C. He was also well-known for his adamant stance on Teachers’ rights both in and out of the classroom as well as being an established actor for both stage and screen. His role as Santa Claus was one of his favourites. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity. Condolences for the family may be left at www.kearneyfs.com.
