It is with broken hearts the family announces the passing of Peter Smoliak. Born July 2, 1929 in Kaleland, Alberta and passed away November 18, 2017 in Surrey, BC.
Predeceased by his father John Smoliak in 1980, his mother Domka Smoliak in 1986, his brothers Mike, Bill, George and Johnny, and recently his other brother Harry on November 23, 2017 and by a sister Anne Drexler.
Survived by his wife Mary, son Laurence, Daughter Evelyn, brother Alec, sister Mary and by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Visitation will be held on Friday, December 8, 2017 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Chapel of Valley View Funeral Home, 14660 - 72nd. Avenue, Surrey, BC.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday December 9, 2017 at 11:00 am at the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of St. Mary, 10765 - 135A Street, Surrey, BC followed by burial at Valley View Memorial Gardens, 14660 - 72nd. Avenue, Surrey, BC.
Although our hearts are broken and we will miss you everyday, there is comfort that we know, we will all be with you again one day.
