DUNBAR Quinn Victor Dennis John
March 19, 1996 ~ December 31, 2008
David and Suzanne Dunbar's beautiful (almost 13 years old) son Quinn, brother to sisters Kayla & Marissa and grandson to Margaret Grant & Diane Dunbar, passed away peacefully on New Years' Eve after a 6.1/2 year battle with cancer. Though we grieve the loss of Quinn, we are comforted in knowing that he is in heaven, laughing and dancing in the delight of no disabilities. Quinn loved his school (Latimer Road Elem.), all classmates and his teachers from K - Grade 7.
Quinn was very bright, caring, loving and had a penchant for jokes & laughter. Quinn (and we) will never forget the love, prayers & support over 6.1/2 years from family, close friends (Jim & Susan), School, Cloverdale Baptist Church, Camp Goodtimes, Childrens' and Surrey Memorial Hospital (especially the Pediatric Oncology Staff), numerous other groups & Valley View Funeral Home (thank you Mr. Shane Suter).
There's a "CELEBRATION of Quinn's Life" - Sunday, Jan 18th, 2009 at the Bell Centre for the Performing Arts at 6250 - 144th St., Surrey, BC, 3:00 PM (doors open at 2:30 PM) reception after. We ask that anyone who's been impacted by Quinn and his personality, to attend. (An "open" mike will be ready for stories to be shared about Quinn.)
