THORPE--Ruskin Peter
Born June 12, 1923, passed peacefully in White Rock July 23, 2009. Raised in Toronto, Rus was an ordained minister with the United Church of Canada from 1958 to 1972. He moved to BC in 1973 and settled in central Surrey. Kind, generous and devout, Ruskin was a true Christian in every sense. Predeceased by his parents George and Mary Alice Thorpe and siblings Keith and Gwen. Lovingly remembered by his daughters Anne (Evan), Rachel (Tony) and Elizabeth (Wade), his son Christopher (Susan), and grandchildren Thomas, Katie, Spencer, Rosanna and Derek. Memorial Service to be held on Thursday, July 30, 2009 at 7 pm at Sunshine Hills Foursquare Church, 6749-120th St., Delta, BC.
