WICKSTROM, Sally Jane (nee Sarah Jane Waters) – born September 9th, 1939 in Dominion City, Manitoba passed away peacefully on August 27th, 2005 in the Peace Arch Hospital, White Rock. Sally moved to Vancouver in 1958 and had spent the last 12 yrs in Sointula on Malcolm Island, (Northern tip of Vancouver Island). She had just recently moved back to her home in Delta.
She is survived by her loving husband, Don of 46 years, her daughter, Kathy of Edmonton, her sons Gordon and Dan of Sointula, her grandchildren Bill & Robert Duncan of Delta, Christine and Mark Anderson of Edmonton, five brothers, five sisters, and many nieces and nephews. Her daughter Donna Duncan passed away March last year.
Sally will be sadly missed and will always have a special place in our hearts.
A service will be held in Sointula on September 10th for friends and family in that area and a memorial to celebrate Sally’s life will be held in Delta at the Trinity Lutheran Church, 11040 River Road at 3:00 PM on Saturday, September 24th, 2005.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
