Elepano - Teodora passed away peacefully at her home in Surrey, BC on Friday, February 27, 2009 at the age of 89. She was born in Paniqui, Tarlac, Philippines on April 1, 1919, the youngest of three. A hardworking and respected woman, she worked as a seamstress for the majority of her life. She is predeceased by her parents, Fabian Javier and Fausta Austria; her husband, Fernando Elepano and children Lydia, Romeo and Antonio; grandchildren Jossielyn and Darwin Reyes; and great granddaughter Jade Linao. She is survived by her nine children and their families: Lydia's children (Honorio Reyes, both deceased) of Sta. Ana, Manila, Philippines, Ferdinand and his children Mary Michelle and Martini Angelo, Maricel and daughters Maricar and Irene, Aerollyn (Ariel de Guzman) and sons Aaron and Ariel Jr.; daughter, Yolanda (Marciano Moya, deceased) of Winnipeg, MB and children, Marshall, Michelle Lynn and Marville (Cynthia) and daughters Mia and Avery; daughter, Merlinda (Raymond Anderson) of Surrey, BC and sons Ryan and Kenneth; son, Gener (Normita) of Surrey, BC and their children Gilbert (Jennifer) and sons Alec and Austin, Glenda (Pierre Beaulieu) and son Xavier, Giselle (James Batton) and son Andrew Roth; son, Reolito (Lunida, deceased / Celsa) of Calgary, AB and children Rose Myla (Ronald Porcioncula), Ronald and Cedrek John; daughter, Josephine (Rolando Micu) of San Francisco, CA and daughter Sheena; daughter, Violeta (Luisito Silverio) of Calgary, AB; daughter, Cristina (Raymundo Linao) of Winnipeg, MB and children Daniel and Justine; son, Frederick (Wilma) of Calgary, AB; and daughter, Gemma (Cesar Rayat) of Surrey, BC and sons Jarrett and Jaison. A Memorial Service celebrating Teodora's life will be held at Our Lady of Good Counsel at 10460 139th Street, Surrey, BC. at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 5, 2009. Luncheon will be served after at Valley View Funeral Home, 14660- 72nd Ave, Surrey, BC.
