February 20, 1948 - January 15, 2019
It is with great sadness that we are saying goodbye to our brother, uncle and friend Terry. Terry was born at Grace Hospital in Vancouver and is predeceased by his parents Venora and Stanley Shaw and his sister Patricia Anderson. He was a person who was passionate about the arts, nature, social justice and was a member of numerous choirs- but most faithful to Bethany United Church's choir, where he attended church since he was sixteen years of age. Terry's career as a High School & Elementary School Teacher/ Librarian spanned over 30 years- he instilled a love of learning, reading and the arts with the countless students he worked with. He also enjoyed the sport of curling both as a player and later in his life as a spectator. While we are sad to say goodbye to this generous and thoughtful man - we believe his amazing tenor voice has already joined the choir of our "Holy Master". Terry leaves behind his brothers Lowell (Alicja), Sandy and Ronnie (Norrie) and his sister Joanne (Barry). He also leaves Michael and many other nephews and nieces who admired him as a man. youth's choir of your choice.
