October 11, 1943 - July 18, 2016 It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Thomas James Sheriff announces his passing on Monday, July 18, 2016 in Surrey Memorial Hospital at the age of 72 years. Tom was born in North Vancouver BC on October 11, 1943 to John and Dorothy Sheriff. He will be remembered for his enjoyment of gardening, growing and sharing fruits and vegetables every year, his commitment to his career with CIBC for almost 40 years, his keen interest in finance and investing, his annual retirement trips with his wife to Cabos, but most of all his love and dedication to his family. Tom will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 49 years, Gayle, and his children, Michelle (Jordie) and Susan (Derek). Tom will be fondly remembered by his four grandson’s, Charlie, Nicholas, Max and Lucus, by his brother Ed Sheri (Frankie) and his sister in law Connie Hipkiss, and many friends and family. Memorial donations may be made in Tom Sheriff’s name to Surrey Memorial Hospital 5 West. A celebration of Tom’s life will be held with family and close friends. Thanks for everything DAD.
