JOYAL, Virginia "Virgie" Lee (nee, Lamb) January 21 1920 - December 5, 2007. Passed away peacefully in her sleep at Langley Lodge. Predeceased by her husband Charlie 2001 and daughter Renee 1978. Our precious Mom had 9 children, Ben, Pat, Diane, Sandi, Renee, Mike, Bob, Michelle, and Chuck. 15 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 2 great- great- grandchildren. She was born in St. Boniface, Manitoba, moved to BC, with Dad in 1949, and lived in New Westminster until they settled in Cloverdale to raise all those kids. She was a hard working woman all her life, who put her kids before herself. Her greatest love was cooking and baking, she won several blue ribbons for her apple pie, black forest cake, cinnamon buns, butter tarts, and so many more. She worked several years at The Surrey School Board, where she was loved by all. Her and Dad ran a restaurant at Cloverdale Racetrack from 1982 - 1988, where all the cooking and baking was Mom. She will be forever missed and always loved. You are at peace now and you are with our Dad. We would like to thank the staff and nurses at Langley Lodge who took exceptional care of our Mom these past 4 years. Service will be held at 10:00 AM December 15 at Henderson's Funeral Home 20786 Fraser Highway, Langley.
