It's with the deepest sadness we announce the death of Vojto (Vojtech) Hrica. He was born in the village of Kuchnya Slovakia in 1944. He moved to Canada in the 1970s where he met his first wife Vera Hrica (Predeceased), in the 2000s he would meet Sylvia Huggins (Predeceased) his common-law partner.
He received a degree in Physical Education and Biology from the University of J.A. Komesnky. In Canada, he worked as a commercial transport mechanic and later as an armored car guard.
He was an amazing marksman who competed professionally. He loved watching Hockey and Football. His true passion was his bonsai trees and maintained a lovely bonsai Garden until he passed away in his home on Jan 18th, 2021 at the age of 76.
He will be dearly loved and forever missed by many beloved friends neighbors and loved ones, including his only Son Christopher Hrica.
