GREEN, Wilhelmina (Willa) Helena
Willa was born in Drinkwater, N.W.T. (Sask.) on Oct. 5, 1903. She passed away on March 10, 2005 at the age of 101. She is survived by sons Gordon (Bev) Clegg of Coquitlam, B.C., Maurice (Mary) Clegg of Rocanville, Sask., and daughter Doreen Yackel of Mississauga, Ont. She was predeceased by her husband Robert (Bob) in 2002, daughter Doris in 1976, son Cecil in 2002, five brothers, Harry, Fred, Ernie, Carl and George Wenzel and one sister, Marguerite Wutzke. She is also survived by sisters-in-law Bertha, Rubena and Myrtle, 7 grandchildren, Wayne (Debbie), Kathy, Yvonne (Graham), Heather (Mitch), Russell, Randi (Andrea), David (Claudia), and fourteen great-grandchildren, plus nieces and nephews and many friends. She was a fine lady and will be sadly missed. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. from the Arbor Chapel of Valley View Funeral Home, 14660-72nd Ave, Surrey. Internment will follow in Valley View Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers donations to the Canadian Caner Society would be appreciated. Special thanks to Dr. S. Barron and all the staff at Hawthorne Care Centre for their kindness and thoughtfulness during Mom's stay with them.
