McROBBIE - William Fredrick James (Bill)
Bill was born March 4, 1923 in Bankend, Saskatchewan. The family moved later to Craven, Saskatchewan. Bill married Betty, the mother of his children in Regina in 1945. Bill, Betty and their children joined Bill's father and the rest of Bill's family in British Columbia in 1966.
Bill is predeceased by his mother Bertha, father James, sister Bernice (Loll) and sister Rose; ex-wife, and life long friend Elizabeth (Betty) McRobbie; and their close friend Norma Dawson. Bill is also predeceased by his brother-in-law Ernie Dean.
Bill is survived by daughters Sandra (Ray) Knudsen, Christine Nasea; son Jim McRobbie. Bill has seven grandchildren, Lenita Knudsen (Clint Norman), Jonathan Nasea, Erik Knudsen (Michelle McNabb), Jeremy Nasea, Leah (Robert) Daniel, Jason Knudsen, Lynette Nasea. Bill has one great grand daughter Hannah Daniel.
Bill is also survived by his sister Bessie Dean of Quesnel, B.C; brother Ted (Helen) McRobbie of Logan Lake, B.C and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A visitation will be held at Avalon Surrey Funeral Home 13288 108th Ave, Surrey, British Columbia on Friday, January 27th, 2006 from 7pm to 8pm. A Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, January 28th, 2006 at 11am.
