To the very kind gentleman who changed the flat tire for me on my Ford Taurus on afternoon Dec. 22 on 64 Avenue and 166 Street.
I was a senior woman returning alone to my home in Burnaby when the front right tire went flat. I pulled over to the side of the road, contemplating my choices. A young lad knocked at the window saying, “my dad saw your flat tire and will fix it for you.” This gentleman did indeed fix the tire!
And what a wonderful example of kindness for his three children who were also there.
I thanked him but neglected to get his name. Thank you once again.
These spontaneous acts of kindness restore one’s faith in humanity.
