Letter writer Fred Perry complains about the “blue box bandit” who scoops up bottles/cans from the blue box before the recycling people can pick them up.
The people who come to get these items do so usually because they need the money, which is why they don’t have a car. They are working hard and are up and out before many of us are off to our jobs.
Anyone who returns their items knows it is a sticky, stinky and time consuming and in the summer is riddled with wasps.
Have some compassion and maybe give this guy an extra loonie.
My compassion goes to you for such a negative conspiracy attitude.
