Fewer MPs needed

They are preaching “do more with less” to the rest of Canada.

The federal government is presently preaching austerity, and slashing government jobs.

And today there are 308 members of parliament, but that will rise to 338 for the next election.

Why are we not downsizing the amount of MP’s, or at least having it remain the same, when they are preaching “do more with less” to the rest of Canada?

As a high school student, I would rather their wages go to allowing more student loans, to those of us who are cut out of the system because someone has decided my parents earn too much.
