Re: "Adversity is exhausting our city," the Now, Jan. 9.
The number-one priority of our mayor and council should be our safety - and we all know this is not the case. If we want to fix this, we need our own police force. The RCMP is run and controlled by Ottawa, they do not answer to us. Yes it is cheaper to use the RCMP but as with most things, cheaper isn't always better.
