Once again the Delta mayor and council have voted themselves a raise within a two-year period. Now they always make sure they keep up with the rate of inflation.
Forget all the other hard wage earners that have to come up with a hike in garbage, water and sewage fees in April and house taxes in July.
Don’t ask seniors to downsize either, as to purchase a smaller home the province will want a piece of the pie and collect a huge property transfer tax, HST, real estate fees, lawyers fees, etc.
