(RE: 32 Ave. widening on track, The Leader, July 14) The official community plan established in 2002 was that 32 Avenue would lead into an industrial area.
Plus, from 152nd to 158 on 32nd was also designated industrial. Whilst I do care about the community, this is a case that the owners of the property in that area did not do their homework.
Before we even think to purchase a home, we first check out what the city’s plans are.
It was up to the developers to advise their prospective clients of this, not the city.
