My husband and I took our two children (ages five and three) with us when we went to vote Nov. 19 at the Cloverdale Recreation Centre.
Even with our children it was a positive experience.
People were friendly, the line moved quickly, and we got it done. When I saw the line I thought it was pretty long, but I took it as a good sign- people were coming out to vote.
Sure, some things could use some improvement, but all in all everything went smoothly. Sometimes all you need is a more positive outlook.
