ICBC is back in the news, and the new reports have caused a few groans among our readers.

A recent report by Ernst & Young found that the average driver in B.C. may need to pay almost $2,000 in annual total premiums for auto insurance by 2019, an increase of 30 per cent over today’s rates.

With B.C. drivers paying the highest insurance premiums in Canada, one provincial political leader has now spoken out against the corporation.

Interim leader of the B.C. Conservatives, Scott Anderson, believes that ICBC needs to be reformed.

Many have argued that stiffer competition would bring down the price of insurance. However, not all of you feel that way.

Here are some of our readers’ reactions.
