• Rotten tomatoes to Mayor Doug McCallum for doing away with democracy and even more rotten tomatoes to the province for allowing this to happen.

• Rotten tomatoes to the person who stole the brass commemorative plaque from Amelia Adams Park. This small park near 85th and Scott Road was equipped with playground equipment paid for by Amelia, whose generosity was recognized only by this small plaque.

• Rotten tomatoes to the mayor of Surrey and his four council members for their bylaw amendment regarding political signs. Bylaws need enforcement and bylaw officials cannot enforce the bylaws we already have – illegal angle parking, illegal tree cutting and illegal home renovations. What will be next?

• Rotten tomatoes to drivers who veer right before making a left turn. Stay in your own lane! Learn how to drive properly. You aren’t driving a semi truck.

• Rotten tomatoes to drivers who leave their car headlights on automatic. When I come up behind you at night, you have no tail lights on. No amount of me blinking my lights at you clues you in. You are going to get rear ended.

• Rotten tomatoes to whoever dumped several mattresses and a sofa into Bear Creek! Easier to call Surrey for “Large Item Pick Up.” Waterlogged items are difficult to remove from creek.

• Exploding rotten tomatoes to those who insist on using fireworks this time of year (and to Surrey for not having the staff on at night to deal with it).
