• I want to send roses to the firemen and paramedics that I have had to call when there is a health issue with my partner. They arrive in good time and always immaculate in their appearance and knowledge. They are so kind and understanding and deal with the problems so efficiently.  I am so grateful to have such people come to help in such a short period of time. Also want to thank all the doctors and nurses at Surrey Memorial Hospital. We experienced nothing but the best when they are so busy and overrun with people's various problems. Thank you, thank you. You are so appreciated!

• Rotten tomatoes to the people playing loud thunderous beating music all afternoon (second time in a week), and way past 10:30 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 6. Last week we had another such day that went past 11 p.m. Our windows are shut and we still feel the vibes of the music. Total lack of consideration for their neighbours. Rotten tomatoes to the administration of the City of Surrey, its bylaw department, the two police services currently serving the city at great expense for allowing this to go on.

• Rotten tomatoes to parents that have nothing better to do but protest SOGI 123. Go find something more productive to do with your time instead of standing outside the school district office with their ugly signs.

• Roses to the Medicine Shoppe in Fleetwood. I could not be more amazed at the wonderful customer service here. The pharmacists are gentle, patient, caring and kind, besides being professional and knowledgeable. It only took less than 10 minutes for them to have my prescriptions ready.
