• Rotten tomatoes to President Trump: We are buying Canadian and will not travel to the U.S.A. You have damaged your country.
• Sending two dozen of beautiful white roses to the City of Surrey engineering department. Two days last week they sent their city plow truck, they plowed and salted our cul-de-sac making it safer for us to drive or walk on our street. Well worth paying our taxes for these services.
• Roses to the Canadian grocery stores that can carry the big American stores' food and products. We will support you.
• Roses to Surrey residents who research who owns thrift stores before donating. There are thrift stores that help homeless people or help buy equipment for hospitals and hospices.
• Roses to the City of Surrey for the dog park in Fleetwood. There are two things we do not like at our park: there is no grass to roll in or trees to pee on. Pavement is not suitable to roll on and is too hot on summer days. A bench or two for our owners to sit on would have been a good idea. You should have asked us dogs what we wanted in our park.
• Rotten tomatoes to the Surrey school trustees who voted to close our Surrey learning centres. We will remember this next election and vote you out.
• Rotten tomatoes that we have Lower Mainland mayors robbing us taxpayers. Uncontrolled pay raises, double dipping by going to meetings getting paid as mayor and being on a board.
• Rotten tomatoes to Surrey neighbours who overload their garbage and recycling bins. The crows get into these overloaded bins and garbage is all over. Not only that, some of these litterbug homeowners will not pick up their garbage off the ground. Spot checks by the city could hand out fines. Maybe a check to see if these homes have suites. Do they have undersized bins?
• Rotten tomatoes on taxes in Surrey: Some homeowners have one, two, three suites, so why isn't the city taxing them appropriately? These homes use more water, sewer, and garbage, and we the honest taxpayers are subsidizing them. They are not paying their fair share of taxes. Plus these homeowners are probably not paying income tax on their rental(s).
• Rotten tomatoes to Wayfair Canada. I googled; this shopping site is not Canadian. Boycott Wayfair and Amazon — they are American companies. We are Canadian.
