• A bouquet of roses to each of the cars that stopped to help me the other morning when I fell just meters from the entrance of the Newton pond. I tripped on the sidewalk and within seconds, three separate cars stopped to help. With all the bad things going on in the world, we often forget that there are wonderful people. Thank you to those three drivers.
• Rotten tomatoes to the neighbours who smoke cigarettes next to our fence and rub the cigarette butts on our fence (that's a fire hazard!). And also throwing their trash right next to our fence. The wind makes the garbage blow up onto our yard. After we complained to the bylaw enforcement they finally stopped, or so we thought they did ...
• Rotten tomatoes to motorists who do not remember the rules when driving: Stop at a red light. Turn right on a red light unless there is a sign saying do not turn on a red light.
