TransLink should initiate a tax levy for new development within 500 meters of a SkyTrain station or along a SkyTrain line.
The developers are reaping a huge benefit by being able to charge a premium for these sites both residential and commercial because of their proximity to the line.
TransLink should benefit from this directly and reduce the burden on homeowners.
