Taxpayers who support teachers are two-faced

Today we have taxpayers that do not support teachers and taxpayers that do support teachers.

Today we have taxpayers that do not support teachers and taxpayers that do support teachers. These taxpayers that do support the teachers are two-faced. Why?

Let’s say the government decided to hold a provincewide referendum asking the taxpayers to make a decision on whether to agree to the requested demands of the B.C. Teachers’ Federation of a five-year contract with a eight-per-cent pay raise and a $5,000 signing bonus.

The question could read something like this: Are you in favour or not in favour of giving the teachers their request of a five-year contract with a pay raise of eight per cent and a $5,000 signing bonus? If in favour, the increase will be covered with an immediate increase in income tax deductions for all taxpayers.

The vote result would be a solid no. There are even some school teachers that would also vote no on the question.

Pure teacher greed.
