I just thought I would let you know how happy I was with the story that ran in The Leader on April 25.
It really captured what I want people to know.
Multiple Sclerosis is a two-letter word and not a sentence.
Yes there will be challenges, yes it may get worse, yes I may stay the same and yes they may be able to fix those of us who have it and stop others from getting it.
As you probably know, there are worse things to get and worse things happen to good people, so I just have to look at the good in all of this.
I have a good husband, a good employer, good neighbours, good friends and good people looking after me.
I know what I can and cannot do, what to watch for when I am doing what I can, and listen to my body when things start to go a little sideways.
It feels like I am floating on air right now as our team raised $8,055.10 on Sunday at the Scotiabank MS Walk in Surrey – thanks to a lot of wonderful people.
