When I left England many years ago we had two mail deliveries per day, and mail on a Saturday.
Not everyone here has totally embraced email and I for one look forward to sending and receiving letters, cards, packages and magazines in the mail.
Perhaps I am one of very few householders who feel this way, but would rather believe that there are thousands of us senior citizens in Canada who rely on Canada Post to keep us connected to family and friends. I hope that saner heads will prevail, and daily delivery becomes routine again.
