There is a risk in just walking

God forbid the cost of sending a child to school costs someone their life.

Re: Dangerous drivers who zoom through crosswalks during school hours.

A pedestrian was hit just last week near my home at 110 Street and 84 Avenue and then again this morning as I was taking my nephew to school, we were very nearly struck.

This is after making eye contact with drivers and an entire lane of traffic being stopped.

It would be great to see some crossing guards but as it is, I implore the drivers of Delta to slow down and watch for pedestrians.

God forbid the cost of sending a child to school costs someone their life.
