The BC Aquasonics were perfect at Synchro BC’s Lower Mainland Regional Meet in Langley on April 27, winning nine gold medals in as many events. Aquasonic entries also won three silver medals.

“We are so proud of our athletes,” said BC Aquasonics coach Tanya Magee. “For some of them, this was their very first time at a synchro meet and they are thrilled to have such great success. For the provincial level competitive athletes, this was their first big test of the year in an official competition and they passed with flying colours.”

Medeleine LeBlanc won gold in the Soldo Level 2 12-and-under solo event, with Shaleigh Lachance taking the silver medal. In Duet competition, Isobel Jervis and Annie Wang were the winners in Level 1 12-and-under, with Grace MacDonald and Abby Rothwell topping the standings in Level 2 12-and-under.

In team competition, Aquasonics swimmers were gold medalists in Rec Star 1 and 2, Level 1 12-and-under, Level 2 12-and-under, Level 2 13-and-over, and level 5 15-and-over. They also won gold in Level 5 15-and-over Combo.

Silver medals were won in Rec Star 1 and 2, and Level 1 12-and-under.
