All Star Wrestling is presenting “Body Slams For Toys” on Friday, Dec. 15, a wrestling event that will benefit the Surrey Christmas Bureau.

“Come one, come all and let’s make a difference for the Surrey Christmas Bureau,” the event’s press release reads.

All Star Wrestling will be collecting new, unwrapped toys at the event. Fans will receive a ticket to a 2018 wrestling show for every toy donated.

The toys must be worth at least $10 in order to be exchanged for a ticket and the “Midget Wrestling Warriors” shows are not included in the offer.

The line up for the Dec. 15 show is packed with All Star Wrestling fan favourites.

The main event of the night will be the “I Quit” match between former ASW Crusierweight champions Matt Xstatic and Kobra Kai.

The feud between the two champs has been running high for nearly a year, and both have made it known to the other that they have what it takes to win. Fans will witness a “technically sound mat classic,” according to ASW, and the only way to win the match will be to make your opponent say “I quit.”

Team Storm Academy will take on the Tokyo Raiders in a classic tag team match, followed by the Hall Sisters versus Malia Hosaka and Allie Parker.

Mike Santiago will challenge new champion Nathan Kabe for the ASW Cruiserweight Title. Kabe won the title from Matt X Static in mid-November, and Santiago is billed as “one of the most outspoken and controversial wrestlers in the Pacific Northwest.” Fans will see if Kabe can hold on to the belt in his first title defence.

The show will take place at the Alice McKay building on the Cloverdale Fairgrounds, 6050A 176 Street. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and bell time is 7:30 p.m.

Tickets are on sale on vtixonline.com. General admission is $15.75 and front row seats are $21 each.
