Braden Krogfoss, a Grade 11 Lord Tweedsmuir student and goalie with  the B.C. Major Midget League champions, the Vancouver North West Giants, topped off a stellar season this week by being voted to the MML All-Star Team.

The MML All-Star team is voted by league coaches who were prohibited from voting for players on their own team.  Krogfoss posted a new MML. record 1.52 GAA (goals against average) and  went 15-2-4 on the year with a sparkling .939 save percentage.

Krogfoss, who is a Kamloops Blazers draft choice, has committed to play for the Trail Smoke Eaters of the British Columbia Hockey League for next season but he also plans to attend the Blazers main camp in August.

Another Vancouver North West Giant defenseman, Joseph Carvalho, of Burnaby, was also selected to the MML All-Star Team.

The 2011-2012 BCMML All-Star team:

Defenceman - Joseph Carvalho, Vancouver North West Giants

Defenceman - Jordan Klimek, Valley West Hawks

Forward - Parker Bowles, Okanagan Rockets
