Gordie Kordas of the Surrey Gymnastics Society has qualified for the Canadian Championships in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island in May.
Kordas, 16, placed second all around after two days of competition at the Men’s Elite Canada competition in Brampton, Ontario last weekend.
Competing in the High Performance Tyro category, Kordas placed third on pommel horse, fourth on floor and high bar and fifth on parallel bars.
