Defeat Westside Warriors in Atom division playoff game

The North Surrey Lions are through to the semifinal round of the Vancouver Mainland Football League’s Atom division playoffs after a 34-14 win over the Westside Warriors.

Keyshawn Beswick paced the Lions with two touchdowns, with Myles McPherson, Youseef Saad Sheta and Davin Reithaug adding one each.

Kieran Pama and Marquell Milanzi played well on offense, while the defense was led by Beswick, McPherson, Pama, Milanzi, Andrew Knox, Lucky Gill, Luckman Kurdall, and Davin and Aiden Reithaug.

The Cloverdale Leopards fell 40-7 to the Coquitlam Chargers in a Bantam division playoff game.

Bennie Clark scored the Cloverdale touchdown, which was converted by Harmandeep Jouhal. Standouts on offense were Victor Belanger and Bishop Francis, while Joel Cawsey and Stuart Bourke were the defensive leaders.
