The defending champion sits alone atop the standings after the Draw 3 of the BC Scotties women's curling championship in Cloverdale.
Kelly Scott of Kelowna trailed Lori Olsen of the Royal City Curling Club 5-1 after three ends, but scored two in the fourth and stole two in each of the fifth and sixth ends on her way to an 8-6 lead.
Scott's foursome is the only undefeated team at the provincial championship, while Olsen is still winless. Two other teams which won twice Monday lost on Tuesday morning.
Patti Knezevic of Prince George fell behind early to Marilou Richter of Royal City and couldn't catch up, falling 7-4. The win was the first of the week for Richter.
Kirsten Fox, the third of three teams from the Royal City club in New Westminster, handed Abbotsford's Allison MacInnes her first defeat by an 8-5 score. Fox is also at 2-1 (won-loss).
Marla Mallett, who curls out of the host Cloverdale Curling Club, is in the four-way logjam in second place with two wins after she stole three in the eighth end and went on to a 6-4 win over Simone Brosseau of Juan de Fuca.
The final match of Draw 3 had Simone Groundwater of Williams Lake pick up her first victory, as a steal of four in the seventh end helped her to a 10-5 triumph. The result left both teams with 1-2 records.
Scott will look to remain undefeated tonight at 6:30 p.m. when she will play Fox in one of five contests in Draw Four.
