Six bowlers qualify for nationals

Will compete in individual, team competitions in Ontario

A half-dozen local bowlers will be competing at the Youth Bowling Council National Championships May 2-4 in Oshawa, ON and Toronto.

Competing in the five-pin singles tournament in Toronto are Brenden Bachmeier of Scottsdale Lanes in Bantam Boys and Simone Losier of Clover Lanes in Senior Girls.

Scottsdale Lanes also has a Bantam Girls team in five-pin competition in Oshawa, comprised of  Bethany Grieve, Teya Levasseur, Carmen Bishop and Skye Bodi.

All B.C. bowlers qualified for the national tournament by winning their provincial championships.
