Thunderbird guard gets recognition from Canada West

Jas Dhillon of Surrey is a Canada West all-star at the guard position.

Jas Dhillon of the University of British Columbia Thunderbirds football team has been named a Canada West All-star.

The selection is the first for the 6’3” 290 lbs. guard, a third-year player from Surrey who played for the Langley Rams of the Canadian Junior Football League.

UBC finished 5-3 (won-lost) in league play before losing a semifinal game 42-28 to the Calgary Dinos on Nov. 2.
