Two medals for Tran

Jingle Blades figure skating competition in White Rock

Mandy Tran of the North Surrey Skating Club earned a pair of podium placings at the Jingle Blades figure skating competition Nov. 25-27 in White Rock.

Tran won the gold medal first in the Introductory Interpretive category, and a silver with a second in the Senior Bronze Women group.

Silver medals were also earned by Julie Huynh in Bronze Interpretive, and Sheetal Prasad in Performance Program Women.

Placing fourth were Ashleigh Wong in Silver Interpretive, and Kevin Hua in Preliminary Men.
