Whitecaps FC announce Tim Hortons Coaching Clinic

This year's coaching clinic is free to all participants, and coaches will receive cheap tickets to the Real Salt Lake game, Sept. 28.

Coffee and kicks. It can’t get much better.

The Vancouver Whitecaps have announced that registration is open for their Coaching Clinic, held in partnership with Tim Hortons. The clinic will run from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. PST on Sept. 28, 2013 at BC Place.

The clinic is free for all participants, and coaches can register online at

“Last year’s inaugural Coaching Clinic was a great success, so we’re thrilled to again be partnering with Tim Hortons to bring back this event for a second straight year,” said Whitecaps president and former superstar Bob Lenarduzzi, in a statement posted online.

“This is a terrific opportunity for coaches of all levels to be provided with coaching tips from our professional staff, which ultimately will help them continue to develop local players.”

Registered coaches will receive a Tim Hortons gift card and travel mug, as well as discounted rate on tickets ($20) to the Whitecaps vs. Real Salt Lake game later that night.

The deadline to register is September 20.
