Noontime Notes concerts at Central City’s outdoor plaza

New series launches July 4 with performance by Emily Taylor Adams

SURREY — A new summer series will fill Central City’s outdoor plaza with the sound of music.

“Noontime Notes” will feature lunchtime entertainment every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from July 4 to Aug. 24, 11:45 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Performers booked for the series will play pop, jazz, country, bluegrass and other styles of music.

Country-pop artist Emily Taylor Adams will kick off the series on Tuesday, July 4, followed by variety performer Brian Zalo on July 5 and acoustic-bluegrass combo Rollin’ Train Wreck on July 6.

Other featured artists in the series are Dan Hare, Bruce Coughlan, Karen Lee Batten, Blake Havard, John Gilliat, Pat Chessell, Chris Rolin, GB Roots, Whiskey Minstrels and Geoff Gibbons.
