YOUNG, Frederick Sidney
Dad was born in Beatty, Sask on November 16, 1921 and passed away with family by his side on July 3, 2010 at Laurel Place, Surrey, BC.
Predeceased by his wife Judy. He will be sadly missed and remembered by his 2 sisters Florence Peddie and Grace Foulton. Children Peter (Carol), Fred (Marie) and Jean. His 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Dad was a veteran of the Second World War and worked in the field of construction until he retired. Fred will be remembered for his sunny disposition and warm smile he readily shared with everyone he met. The family would like to thank the staff at Laurel Place for their kindness and care that was given to our Dad over the past few years.
In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to a charity of your choice or the Alzheimer's Society in Fred's memory. A memorial service will be held on July 8 at 11am at the Henderson Langley Funeral Home at 20786 Fraser Hwy. Langley BC 604-530-6488
