Joe passed away in Surrey, B.C. after a hard fought battle with cancer. He will be sadly missed by all of his loving family and friends. Predeceased by his loving wife Shirley, three infant sons, parents, Anne and Mike, brother John (Helen) and brother-in-law Bill. Survived by sister, Frances (Howard), brothers, Albert (Joan), Edward (June), Gordon (Bunny) and Orest, sisters-in-law, Morleen and Betty and brother-in-law Leonard, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. A graveside gathering for family and friends will be held on Saturday, March 25, at 1:30 p.m. at Valley View Memorial Gardens, 14660 72 Avenue, Surrey. A reception will follow in the Rose and Dogwood Rooms at Valley View Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations to the Cancer Society or the Diabetes Association in Joe's memory would be appreciated.
