Hallmark Ford Sales is bringing Ford Motor Company of Canada, Limited’s Drive 4 UR School program to the Surrey community in an effort to raise money for North Surrey Secondary and Clayton Heights Secondary schools. For every person who test-drives a Ford vehicle at the events, Hallmark Ford Sales and Ford of Canada will donate $20 to the high schools.

“We’re excited to partner with North Surrey and Clayton Heights to help raise funds for this year’s dry grads,” said Dan Warkentin, Marketing and Sales at Hallmark Ford Sales. “Not only is the Drive program a chance to support extracurricular activities and give back to the community, but it allows us the opportunity to showcase Ford of Canada’s high-quality line-up and innovative safety technologies to parents, teenagers and other drivers.”

The events will take place at the schools and will feature the Ford Escape, Fusion, Focus, and F-150. The events are as follows:

• Saturday, March 1 at North Surrey Secondary School, 15945 96 Ave. from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

• Saturday, March 8, at Clayton Heights Secondary School, 7003 188 St. from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Participants must be 18 or older and have a valid driver’s licence. There is a limit of one test-drive per household.

Since the start of Ford’s Drive 4 UR School and Community programs in 2010, more than 157,000 test-drives at more than 900 events have generated over $3 million in donations for high schools and organizations in Canada. Hallmark Ford Sales has hosted 16 Drive 4 UR School events raising more than $23,000 to support Surrey schools.
