A local celebrity chef will be on hand this weekend for a viewing party of a popular TV culinary contest.
Cloverdale's Matt Stowe – a finalist on Food Network's Top Chef Canada – will be at Cactus Club Cafe's South Point location Monday evening for the gathering.
Joining him will be Calgary's Nicole Gomes and Montreal's Danny Francis, who were also contestants on the show.
The show is set to air at 6 p.m. on Monday – guests to the viewing party will be treated with a special dessert made by Stowe.
