Sights and sounds of Christmas filled the area on Saturday

SURREY — Sights and sounds of the Christmas season filled Surrey City Hall Plaza on Saturday (Nov. 19) during the annual Surrey Tree Lighting Festival.

A highlight of the day-long event was the lighting of a 55-foot tree in the middle of the plaza.

Musician Tyler Shaw was the headliner at the festival, which featured a wide variety of attractions.
